Caught by her smile

Well like most authors i am one who do not
believe in love at first sight untill i experienced it
myself...
It all started like this, I was with a few friends at
McDonalds, after my lecture from school, we were
chatting and laughing at some stupid stories that
one of my friends told...
Just then, a group of girls come and took their
seats, there was this girl, quite outstanding for
that striking red top she was wearing and she
had this sweet smile...
Then, while they were at the counter, ordering
their food, i noticed something, they all had a
disability, they could not talk... But, this was not
considered a disability to me, i walked up to
them, and ask for her number, well, she was
suprised?
But, she eventually gave me her address and her
name is Elaine, she does not have a phone at
home and there was no possibility to talk to
her...
After a few days, i sent her a letter, asking her
out on a date the following Saturday. Whether she
agreed to the date or was it rejected, i could not
tell for i do not know!
We were supposed to meet at the Lido cinema to
catch a movie, i waited for around 5mins then,
she appeared. She was wearing that same smile
that caught me..
In the cinema, we saw he show "Ice Age." In
order to communicate, i needed to get a pen and
paper...
I asked her about how she felt about me.. she
told me she was very happy, but at the same
time, she was worried as she could not define
whether my love was out of sympathy or was it
from my heart.
From that moment, i have been asking myself the
question, untill a month later after my exams, i
finally made up my mind, i was really in love with
her, not for her disability that i sympathize, not
for that she is pretty, but for the fact that i love
her... i went to her home, which made her quite
suprised, i pulled her out of her home and ran to
the park in font of her block of flats, i looked at
her and wrote to her how i felt, she looked at my
with those big black eyes, those that could take
your soul away if you were you stare at it for a
long time.
She took the pen and wrote this sentence,"I love
you too, but now that i am assured that you love
me for wat i am and not out of sympathy, i feel
that i will not regret the decision.."
Now, we have been together for two years and
althoguh we have not planned to get married, i
have never once quarrel with her, not even on
paper and i never will...

True love story-2

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of
marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy
was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was
around two years old, one morning the husband
saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work
so he asked the wife to cap the bottle and keep it
in the cupboard. The mother, preoccupied in the
kitchen, totally forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the
bottle and, fascinated with its color, drank it all.
It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for
adults in small dosages. When the child
collapsed, the mother hurried him to the hospital,
where he died. The mother was stunned. She was
terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital
and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and
uttered just four words.
What do you think were the four words?
The husband just said "I Love You Darling"
The husband's totally unexpected reaction is
proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can
never be brought back to life. There is no point in
finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he
have taken time to keep the bottle away, this will
not have happened. No
point in attaching blame. She had also lost her
only child. What she needed at that moment was
consolation and sympathy from the husband.
That is what he gave her.
Sometimes we spend time asking who is
responsible or who to blame, whether in a
relationship, in a job or with the people we know.
We miss out some warmth in human relationship
in giving each other support. After all, shouldn't
forgiving someone we love be the easiest thing in
the world to do? Treasure what you have. Don't
multiply pain, anguish and suffering by holding on
to forgiveness.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of
perspective, there would be much fewer problems
in the world.
Take off all your envies, jealousies, unwillingness
to forgive, selfishness, and fears and you will find
things are actually not as difficult as you think.

The Salty Coffee

He met her at a party. She was so outstanding,
many guys chasing after her, while he was so
normal, nobody paid attention to him.
At the end of the party, he invited her to have
coffee with him, she was surprised but due to
being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice
coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything,
she felt uncomfortable, and she thought to
herself, "Please, let me go home..."
Suddenly he asked the waiter, "Would you please
give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."
Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face
turned red but still, he put the salt in his coffee
and drank it. She asked him curiously, "Why you
have this hobby?" He replied, "When I was a little
boy, I lived near the sea, I liked playing in the sea,
I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste
of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the
salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think
of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I
miss my parents who are still living there." While
saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply
touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom
of his heart. A man who can tell out his
homesickness, he must be a man who loves
home, cares about home, has responsibility of
home... Then she also started to speak, spoke
about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her
family.
That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful
beginning of their story. They continued to date.
She found that actually he was a man who meets
all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind
hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good
person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his
salty coffee! Then the story was just like every
beautiful love story, the princess married to the
prince, and then they were living the happy life...
And, every time she made coffee for him, she put
some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the
way he liked it.
After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter
which said, "My dearest, please forgive me,
forgive my whole life's lie. This was the only lie I
said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first
time we dated? I was so nervous at that time,
actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It
was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I
never thought that could be the start of our
communication! I tried to tell you the truth many
times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that,
as I have promised not to lie to you for
anything... Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I
tell you the truth, I don't like the salty coffee,
what a strange bad taste... But I have had the
salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I
never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having
you with me is my biggest happiness for my
whole life. If I can live for the second time, still
want to know you and have you for my whole life,
even though I have to drink the salty coffee
again."
Her tears made the letter totally wet. Someday,
someone asked her, "What's the taste of salty
coffee?" She replied, "It's sweet."
Pass this to everyone because love is not to
forget but to forgive, not to see but understand,
not to hear but to listen, not to let go but HOLD
ON!!!!

A Silent Love

From the very beginning, the girl's family objected
strongly on her dating this guy. Saying that it has
got to do with family background & that the girl
will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she
were to be with him.
Due to family's pressure, the couple quarrel very
often. Though the girl love the guy deeply, but
she always ask him: "How deep is your love for
me?"
As the guy is not good with his words, this often
causes the girl to be very upset. With that & the
family's pressure, the girl often vents her anger
on him. As for him, he only endures it in silence.
After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated
& decided to further his studies in overseas.
Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: "I'm not
very good with words. But all I know is that I love
you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the
rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best
to talk them round. Will you marry me?"
The girl agreed, & with the guy's determination,
the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get
married. So before he leaves, they got engaged.
The girl went out to the working society, whereas
the guy was overseas, continuing his studies.
They sent their love through emails & phone calls.
Though it's hard, but both never thought of giving
up.
One day, while the girl was on her way to work,
she was knocked down by a car that lost control.
When she woke up, she saw her parents beside
her bed. She realized that she was badly injured.
Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort
her. But she realized that all that could come out
of her mouth was just a sigh. She has lost her
voice......
The doctor says that the impact on her brain has
caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her
parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out
from her, she broke down.
During the stay in hospital, besides silence
cry,.....it's still just silence cry that companied
her. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be
the same. Except for the ringing tone of the
phone. Which pierced into her heart every time it
rang. She does not wish to let the guy know. &
not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a
letter to him saying that she does not wish to
wait any longer.
With that, she sent the ring back to him. In
return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply,
and countless of phone calls,.. all the girl could
do, besides crying, is still crying....
The parents decided to move away, hoping that
she could eventually forget everything & be
happy.
With a new environment, the girl learnt sign
language & started a new life. Telling herself
everyday that she must forget the guy. One day,
her friend came & told her that he's back. She
asked her friend not to let him know what
happened to her. Since then, there wasn't
anymore news of him.
A year has passed & her friend came with an
envelope, containing an invitation card for the
guy's wedding. The girl was shattered. When she
opened the letter, she saw her name in it instead.
When she was about to ask her friend what's
going on, she saw the guy standing in front of
her. He used sign language telling her "I've spent
a year's time to learn sign language. Just to let
you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let
me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You.
With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger.
The girl finally smiled.

A way of Love

There was once this guy who is very much in love
with his girl. This
romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper-cranes
as a gift to his girl.
Although, at that time he was just a small fry in
his company, his future
doesn't seemed too bright, they were very happy
together. Until one day,
his girl told him she was going to Paris and will
never come back.
She also told him that she couldn't visualize any
future for the both of
them, so let's go their own ways there and
then ...Heartbroken, the guy
agreed. But when he regains his confidence, he
worked hard day and night,
slogging his body and mind just to make
something out of him.
Finally with all these hard work and the help of
friends, this guy had set
up his own company. You never fail until you stop
trying one rainy day,
while this guy was driving; he saw an elderly
couple sharing an umbrella
the rain walking to some destination.
Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched.
It didn't take him
long to realize those were his girl's parents. With
a heart in getting back
at them, he droved slowly beside the couple,
wanting them to
spot him in his luxury sedan.
He wanted them to know that he wasn't the
same anymore; he had his own
company, car, comfort etc. He made it! Before the
guy can realize, the
couple was walking towards a cemetery, and he
got out of his car and
followed.... and he saw his girl, a photograph of
her smiling sweetly as
ever at him from her tombstone... and he saw his
paper cranes beside her.
Find time to realize that there is one person who
means so much to you,
for you might wake up one morning losing that
person who you thought meant
nothing to you Her parents saw him. He asks
them why had this happened.
They explained, she did not leave for France at
all. She was ill with
cancer.
She had believed that he will make it someday,
but she did not want to be
his obstacle ..... therefore she had choose to
leave him ...
Just because someone doesn't love you the way
you want them to, doesn't
mean they don't love you with all they have She
had wanted her parents to
put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the
day comes when fate brings
him to her again he can take some of those back
with him ...
Once you have loved, you will always love. For
what's in your mind may
escape but what's in your heart will remain
forever
The guy just wept ..... The worst way to miss
someone is to be sitting
right
beside them knowing you can't have them

A blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind

There was a blind girl who hated herself just
because she was blind. She hated everyone, except
her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her.
She said that if she could only see the world, she
would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her
and then she could see everything, including her
boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you
can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl
was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was
blind too, and refused to marry him.

Poor child!!!

On the last day before Christmas, I hurried to the
stores to buy the remaining gifts I didn't manage
to buy earlier.
When I saw all the people there, I started to
complain to myself. It is going to take forever here
and I still have so many other places to go.
Christmas is really getting more and more
annoying every year. How I wish I could just lie
down, go to sleep and only wake up after it...
Nonetheless, I made my way to the toys section.
Once I was there, I started to curse at the prices
as I wonder if all kids really play with such
expensive toys.
While looking in the toys section, I noticed a small
boy of about five years old, pressing a doll against
his chest. He kept on touching the hair of the doll
and looked very sad. I wondered who he wanted to
give the doll to.
The little boy turned to the old woman next to him
and said, “Granny, are you sure I don't have
enough money?”
The old lady replied, “You know that you don't
have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.”
Following that, she asked him to stay put for five
minutes while she went to look around. She left
quickly.
The little boy was still holding the doll in his
hands. Finally, I walked towards him and asked
him who he wanted to give the doll to.
“It is the doll that my sister loved most and
wanted so much for this Christmas. She was so
sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.”
I told him that maybe Santa Claus will bring it to
her after all and not to worry.
However, he replied sadly, “No, Santa Claus cannot
bring it to where she is now. I have to give the
doll to my mother so that she can give it to her
when she goes there.”
His eyes looked so sad while saying this.
“My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy said
that Mommy will also join God very soon so I
thought that she can bring the doll with her to give
it to my sister.”
My heart nearly stopped.
The little boy looked up at me and said, “I told
Daddy to tell Mommy not to go yet. I asked him to
wait until I come back from the store.”

A life time Love Story . "A touching love story that 'll make u cry"

10th Grade:-
As I sat there in English class,
I stared at the girl next to me.
She was my so called 'best friend'.
I stared at her long, silky hair,
and wished she was mine.
But she didn't notice me like that,
and I knew it.
After class,
she walked up to me and asked me for
the notes she had missed the day before.
I handed them to her.She said 'thanks'
and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
11th grade:-
The phone rang. On the other end,
it was her. She was in tears,
mumbling on and on about how
her love had broke her heart.
She asked me to come over
because she didn't want to be alone, So I
did.
As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at
her
soft eyes, wishing she was mine.
After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie,
and three bags of chips,
she decided to go home.
She looked at me, said 'thanks'
and gave me a kiss
on the cheek..I want to tell her,
I want her to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
Senior year:-
One fine day she walked to my locker.
"My date is sick" she said,
"hes not gonna go" well,
I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade,
we made a promise that
if neither of us had dates,
we would go together just as 'best friends'.
So we did.
That night, after everything was over,
I was standing at her front door step.
I stared at her as She smiled at me
and stared at me with her crystal eyes.
Then she said- "I had the best time, thanks!"
and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
Graduation:-
A day passed, then a week, then a month.
Before I could blink, it was graduation day.
I watched as her perfect body
floated like an angel
up on stage to get her diploma.
I wanted her to be mine-but
she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it.
Before everyone went home,
she came to me in her smock and hat,
and cried as I hugged her.
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder
and said- 'you're my best friend,
thanks' and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
Marriage:-
Now I sit in the pews of the church.
That girl is getting married now.
and drive off to her new life,
married to another man.
I wanted her to be mine,
but she didn't see me like that,
and I knew it.
But before she drove away,
she came to me and said 'you came !'.
She said 'thanks' and kissed me on the
cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
Death:-
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin
of a girl who used to be my 'best friend'.
At the service, they read a diary entry
she had wrote in her high school years.
This is what it read:
'I stare at him wishing he was mine,
but he doesn't notice me like that,
and I know it.
I want to tell him,
I want him to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love him but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
I wish he would tell me he loved me !
.........'I wish I did too...'
I thought to my self, and I cried.

A Caring Son!!!!

An old man lived alone in a village. He wanted to
spade his potato garden, but it was very hard
work. His only son, who would have helped him,
was in prison.
The old man wrote a letter to his son and
mentioned his situation:
Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I
won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year.
I hate to miss doing the garden, because your
mother always loved planting time. I’m just getting
too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were
here, all my troubles would be over. I know you
would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.
Love,
Dad
Shortly, the old man received this telegram: ‘For
Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up the garden!!
That’s where I buried the GUNS!!’ At 4 a.m. the
next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police
officers showed up and dug up the entire garden
without finding any guns.
Confused, the old man wrote another note to his
son telling him what happened, and asked him
what to do next.
His son’s reply was: ‘Go ahead and plant your
potatoes, Dad.. It’s the best I could do for you
from here.’

They have been married for two years. He loves
literature and often posts his work on the net, but
nobody ever reads them. He is also into
photography and he handles their wedding photos.
He loves her very much. Likewise with her. She has
a quick temper and always bullies him. He is a
gentleman and always gives in to her.
Today, she's being willful again.
Her: "Why can't you be the photographer for my
friend's wedding? She promised she'd pay."
Him: "I don't have time that day."
Her: "Humph!"
Him: "Huh?"
Her: "Don't have time? Write less of those novels,
and you will have all the time you need."
Him: "I... someone will definitely recognize my
work some day."
Her: "Humph! I don't care, you'll have to do it for
her!"
Him: "No."
Her: "Just this once?"
Him: "No."
Negotiation's broken. So, she gave the final
warning: "Give me a Yes within three days, or
else..."
First day, she "withheld" the kitchen, bathroom,
computer, refrigerator, television, hi-fi... Except the
double bed, to show her "benevolence".
Of course, she has to sleep on it too. He didn't
mind, as he still has some cash in his pockets.
Second day, she conducted a raid and removed
everything from his pockets and warned, "Seek any
external help, and you bear the consequences."
He's nervous now. That night, on the bed, he begs
for mercy, hoping that she'll end this state. She
doesn't give a damn. No way am I giving in,
whatever he says. Until he agrees.
Third day, night. On the bed. He's lying on the bed,
looking to one side. She's lying on the bed, looking
to the other side.
Him: "We need to talk."
Her: "Unless it's about the wedding, forget it."
Him: "It's something very important."
She remains silent.
Him:"Let's get a divorce."
She did not believe her ears.
Him: "I got to know a girl."
She's totally angry, and wanted to hit him. But she
held it down, wanting to let him finish. But her
eyes already felt wet. He took a photo out from his
chest. Probably from his undershirt pocket, that's
the only place she didn't go through yesterday.
How careless.
Him: "She's a nice girl."
Her tears fell.
Him: "She has a good personality too."
She's heartbroken because he puts a photo of
some other girl close to his heart.
Him: "She says that she'll support me fully in my
pursue for literature after we got married."
She's very jealous because she said the same
thing in the past.
Him: "She loves me truly."
She wishes to sit up and scream at him "Don't I?"
Him: "So, I think she won't force me to do
something that I don't want to do."
She's thinking, but the rage won't subside.
Him: "Want to take a look at the photo I took for
her?"
Her: "...!"
He brings the photo before her eyes. She's in a
total rage, hits his hand away and leaves a burning
slap on his face.
He sighs. She cries.
He puts the photo back to his pocket. She pulls
her hand back under the blanket.
He turns off the light, and sleeps. She turns on the
light, and sits up. He's asleep. She lost sleep. She
regrets treating him the way she treated him.
She cried again, and thought about a lot of things.
She wants to wake him up. She wants to have a
intimate talk with him. She doesn't want to push
him anymore. She stares at his chest. She wants
to see how the girl looks.
She slips the photo out. She wanted to cry and she
wanted to laugh.
It's a nicely taken photo. A photo he took for her.
She bends down, and kissed him on his cheek.
He smiled. He was just pretending to be asleep.

Love never dies

A girl and guy were speeding over
100 mph on a motorcycle.
Girl: Slow down. I'm scared.
Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No its not. Please, it's too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down! Guy:
Now give me a big hug. (Girl hugs
him)
Guy: Can you take my helmet off and
put it on? It's bugging me.
In the paper the next day: A
motorcycle had crashed into a
building because of brake failure. Two
people were on the motorcycle, but
only one survived. The truth was that
halfway down the road, the guy
realized that his brakes broke, but he
didn't want to let the girl know.
Instead, he had her say she loved him,
felt her hug one last time, then had
her wear his helmet so she would live
even though it meant he would die.

Without your love, I would die."

One night a guy and a girl were
driving home from the movies. The
boy sensed there was something
wrong because of the painful silence
they shared between them that night.
The girl then asked the boy to pull
over because she wanted to talk. She
told him that her feelings had changed
and that it was time to move on.
A silent tear slid down his cheek as he
slowly reached into his pocket &
passed her a folded note.
At that moment, a drunk driver was
speeding down that very same street.
He swerved right into the drivers seat,
killing the boy. Miraculously, the girl
survived. Remembering the note, she
pulled it out & read it. "Without your
love, I would die."

if you walked away, I would die."

A girl asked a boy if she was pretty,
he said "No". She asked him if he
wanted to be with her forever, he said
"No". Then she asked him if he would
cry if she walked away, he said "No".
She had heard enough; she needed to
leave.
As she walked away he grabbed her
arm and told her to stay. He said
"You're not pretty, you're beautiful. I
don`t want to be with you forever, I
need to be with you forever. And I
wouldn't cry if you walked away, I
would die."

Happily married couples look back on how their relationships began.

Abigail: I never met men through my job (I’m
a real estate investor). So instead I had the
bad habit of reigniting old relationships, seeing
if I could make them work the second time
around. In May 2010, my three sisters, with
whom I’m very close, and my brother-in-law
Chris urged me to try someone new. When I
demurred, they insisted on buying me a date at
a local bachelor auction for charity. At first, I
protested, but eventually I gave in. And once I
looked through the online profiles of the men
up for grabs, I admitted that a civil engineer
named Dwayne looked pretty dreamy. Plus, his
bio mentioned that he coached Little League
baseball. I love kids.
Dwayne: I had never participated in a date
auction before. I only agreed because it was
for a good cause—the proceeds were going to
breast cancer research.
Abigail: The auction was held at a live-music
venue in downtown Austin. When Dwayne
came onstage, five other women raised their
paddles and started bidding on him, too. My
eldest sister, Amanda, 34, can be a little
competitive. (Plus, she had had a few drinks.)
She was determined to win Dwayne for me at
all costs. And she did—for $600.
Dwayne: The lights were so bright onstage, I
couldn’t see who was bidding. After it was
over, the organizers had me walk through the
audience and hand Abby a rose. I thought,
What is this beautiful girl doing buying a date?
Abigail: I explained that my sisters had forced
me into this and that he didn’t really have to
take me out, but Dwayne insisted.
Dwayne: Five days later, we ate dinner at a
Mexican restaurant. We got the world’s fastest
waiter, who had us in and out in 45 minutes—
it was disappointing. Plus, Abby was very shy
and reserved. I thought she was sweet, but in
all honesty I didn’t see a second date in our
future. Afterward we stopped by a gourmet-
cupcake trailer and bumped into a few of
Abby’s friends. She loosened up, and that’s
when I saw the girl I would fall in love with.
Abigail: I liked that Dwayne was so laid-back.
One of our earliest dates was at a baseball
field. We just played catch.
Dwayne: A couple of months later, we went to
the house of one of Abby’s sisters. When I saw
how Abby’s nephew and niece, who were then
four and two years old, gravitated to her, I
thought: This might be the one.
Abigail: That’s the same time I knew I could
marry Dwayne. He was genuinely interested
and cared about what these little kids had to
say to him. That kindness meant so much to
me. Plus, I want children of my own one day.
Dwayne: I had an elaborate plan about how I
was going to propose to Abby, but I couldn’t
wait. I ended up blurting it out one night after
dinner. We married last April, 11 months after
we met.
Abigail: I love that helping out with a good
cause brought Dwayne and me together. We
continue to contribute to organizations that we
believe in, like Easter Seals and the March of
Dimes. I have to admit, supporting charities
has really paid off for us.

THE GIRL HE NEVER NOTICED

The girl who wore a black wig, black-
rimmed big eyeglasses, braces and old-
fashioned clothes. Everyone thought that
she was a weirdo, a nerd or a girl
resurrected from the past. She was used
to be the laughing stock of everyone.
But who was really Jade Collins? Why
did she hide her real outer beauty? What
happened when her boss, the great Eros
Petrakis, finally noticed her? Could she
tame the beast inside him?
Meet Eros.
The man who had everything in life.
Devilishly handsome, very powerful,
brilliant, extremely rich, and had a body
that women loved to worship. But,
despite all that positive attributes, he
was also very ruthless, tyrant, cold and
heartless. He was his colleagues’ and
enemies’ worst nightmare. They thought
his name was another four-letter word of
EVIL. He never smiled; never said
‘please’ and never apologized for his
mistakes. His employees feared him
most. He fired them in just a snap of his
fingers.
What made him finally noticed Jade?
How would he react when he sees the
woman behind the big black wig and
dark-rimmed eyeglasses?
Enjoy reading the story of Eros and Jade
in ‘THE GIRL HE NEVER NOTICED.’ Join
them in their journey in facing their
trials in life, overcoming the shadows of
their pasts, and finally finding love and
happiness.
Be inspired in their story. Laugh, Cry,
Giggle and Feel in Love with them.
Here's a quote that captivated my
attention from Pinterest, I just want to
share this to you all:
"I always find beauty in things that are
odd and imperfect - they are much more
interesting." --- Marc Jacobs
Well, I'm not saying that Jade is odd or
imperfect, she's not. But I would love a
man who will love a girl not because of
her outer beauty, but because of her
heart -- her inner beauty.

The secret of happiness

A certain shopkeeper sent his son to learn
about the secret of happiness from the
wisest man in the world. The lad wandered
through the desert for 40 days, and finally
came upon a beautiful castle, high atop a
mountain. It was there that the wise man
lived.
Rather than finding a saintly man, though,
our hero, on entering the main room of the
castle, saw a hive of activity: tradesmen
came and went, people were conversing in
the corners, a small orchestra was playing
soft music, and there was a table covered
with platters of the most delicious food in
that part of the world. The wise man
conversed with everyone, and the boy had to
wait for two hours before it was his turn to
be given the man’s attention.
The wise man listened attentively to the
boy’s explanation of why he had come, but
told him that he didn’t have time just then
to explain the secret of happiness. He
suggested that the boy look around the
palace and return in two hours.
“Meanwhile, I want to ask you to do
something”, said the wise man, handing the
boy a teaspoon that held two drops of oil.
“As you wander around, carry this spoon
with you without allowing the oil to spill”.
The boy began climbing and descending the
many stairways of the palace, keeping his
eyes fixed on the spoon. After two hours, he
returned to the room where the wise man
was.
“Well”, asked the wise man, “Did you see the
Persian tapestries that are hanging in my
dining hall? Did you see the garden that it
took the master gardener ten years to
create? Did you notice the beautiful
parchments in my library?”
The boy was embarrassed, and confessed
that he had observed nothing. His only
concern had been not to spill the oil that
the wise man had entrusted to him.
“Then go back and observe the marvels of
my world”, said the wise man. “You cannot
trust a man if you don’t know his house”.
Relieved, the boy picked up the spoon and
returned to his exploration of the palace,
this time observing all of the works of art on
the ceilings and the walls. He saw the
gardens, the mountains all around him, the
beauty of the flowers, and the taste with
which everything had been selected. Upon
returning to the wise man, he related in
detail everything he had seen.
“But where are the drops of oil I entrusted
to you?” asked the wise man. Looking down
at the spoon he held, the boy saw that the
oil was gone.
“Well, there is only one piece of advice I can
give you”, said the wisest of wise men. “The
secret of happiness is to see all the marvels
of the world and never to forget the drops of
oil on the spoon”.

“Why We Shout In Anger”

A Hindu saint who was visiting river Ganges
to take bath found a group of family
members on the banks, shouting in anger at
each other. He turned to his disciples smiled
‘n asked. ‘Why do people shout in anger
shout at each other?’
Disciples thought for a while, one of them
said, ‘Because we lose our calm, we shout.’
‘But, why should you shout when the other
person is just next to you? You can as well
tell him what you have to say in a soft
manner.’ asked the saint.
Disciples gave some other answers but none
satisfied the other disciples.
Finally the saint explained, . ‘When two
people are angry at each other, their hearts
distance a lot. To cover that distance they
must shout to be able to hear each other.
The angrier they are, the stronger they will
have to shout to hear each other to cover
that great distance.
What happens when two people fall in love?
They don’t shout at each other but talk
softly, Because their hearts are very close.
The distance between them is either
nonexistent or very small…’ The saint
continued, ‘When they love each other even
more, what happens? They do not speak,
only whisper ‘n they get even closer to each
other in their love.
Finally they even need not whisper, they
only look at each other ‘n that’s all. That is
how close two people are when they love
each other.’
He looked at his disciples ‘n said. ‘So when
you argue do not let your hearts get distant,
Do not say words that distance each other
more, Or else there will come a day when
the distance is so great that you will not
find the path to return.’

There was a farmer who had a horse and a
goat…..One day, the horse became ill and he
called the veterinarian, who said: - Well,
your horse has a virus. He must take this
medicine for three days. I’ll come back on
the 3rd day and if he’s not better, we’re
going to have to put him down.
Nearby, the goat listened closely to their
conversation. The next day, they gave him
the medicine and left. The goat approached
the horse and said: - Be strong, my friend.
Get up or else they’re going to put you to
sleep!
On the second day, they gave him the
medicine and left. The goat came back and
said:
- Come on buddy, get up or else you’re
going to die! Come on, I’ll help you get up.
Let’s go! One, two, three…
On the third day, they came to give him the
medicine and the vet said:
- Unfortunately, we’re going to have to put
him down tomorrow. Otherwise, the virus
might spread and infect the other horses.
After they left, the goat approached the
horse and said:
- Listen pal, it’s now or never! Get up, come
on! Have courage! Come on! Get up! Get up!
That’s it, slowly! Great! Come on, one, two,
three… Good, good. Now faster, come on……
Fantastic! Run, run more! Yes! Yay! Yes!
You did it, you’re a champion!!!
All of a sudden, the owner came back, saw
the horse running in the field and began
shouting:
- It’s a miracle! My horse is cured. We must
have a grand** **party. Let’s kill the goat!!!!

A Beautiful Inspirational Story on Relationships ~ Message for Parents

How much do you earn ? – Meaningful
Story , Message…..
A man came home from work late, tired and
irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting
for him at the door.
SON: “Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
DAD: “Yeah sure, what is it?” replied the
man.
SON: “Daddy, how much do you make an
hour?”
DAD: “That’s none of your business. Why do
you ask such a thing?” the man said
angrily.
SON: “I just want to know. Please tell me,
how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “If you must know, I make Rs.100 an
hour.”
SON: “Oh,” the little boy replied, with his
head down.
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?”
The father was furious, “If the only reason
you asked that is so you can borrow some
money to buy a silly toy or some other
nonsense, then you march yourself straight
to your room. The little boy quietly went to
his room and shut the door.
———
The man had calmed down, and started to
think: Maybe there was something he really
needed to buy with that Rs.50 and he really
didn’t ask for money very often. The man
went to the door of the little boy’s room and
opened the door.” Are you asleep, son?” He
asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy. “I’ve
been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you
earlier” said the man. Here’s the Rs.50 you
asked for.”
———-
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. “Oh,
thank you daddy!” He yelled. Then, reaching
under his pillow he pulled out some
crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy
already had money, started to get angry
again. The little boy slowly counted out his
money, and then looked up at his father.
“Why do you want more money if you
already have some?” the father
grumbled.”Because I didn’t have enough,
but now I do,” the little boy replied.
———-
“Daddy, I have Rs.100 now. Can I buy an
hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow. I would
like to have dinner with you.”
………………
The father was crushed. He put his arms
around his little son, and he begged for his
forgiveness.
A reminder to all of us working so hard in
life. We should not let time slip through our
fingers without having spent some time with
those who really matter to us, those close
to our hearts……..

A Heart Touching Story ~ "I Wish You Enough"

Recently, I overheard a mother and daughter
in their last moments together at the airport
as the daughter’s departure had been
announced. Standing near the security gate,
they hugged and the mother said: “I love
you and I wish you enough.”
The daughter replied, “Mom, our life
together has been more than enough. Your
love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough,
too, Mom.” They kissed and the daughter
left.
The mother walked over to the window
where I sat. Standing there, I could see she
wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to
intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me
in by asking, “Did you ever say good-bye to
someone knowing it would be forever?”
“Yes, I have,” I replied. “Forgive me for
asking but why is this a forever good-bye?”
“I am old and she lives so far away. I have
challenges ahead and the reality is the next
trip back will be for my funeral,” she said.
When you were saying good-bye, I heard
you say, “I wish you enough.” May I ask
what that means?”
She began to smile. “That’s a wish that has
been handed down from other generations.
My parents used to say it to everyone.” She
paused a moment and looked up as if trying
to remember it in detail and she smiled even
more.
“When we said ‘I wish you enough’ we were
wanting the other person to have a life filled
with just enough good things to sustain
them”. Then turning toward me, she shared
the following, reciting it from memory,
“I wish you enough sun to keep your
attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun
more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your
spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest
joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your
wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that
you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through
the final good-bye.”
She then began to cry and walked away.

A touching love story that ‘ll make u cry”

If you love someone, Tell Them, Don’t let
your heart be broken by words left
unspoken.
10th Grade:-
As I sat there in English class, I stared at
the girl next to me. She was my so called
‘best friend’. I stared at her long, silky hair,
and wished she was mine. But she didn’t
notice me like that, and I knew it. After
class, she walked up to me and asked me
for the notes she had missed the day before.
I handed them to her.
She said ‘thanks’ and gave me a kiss on the
cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don’t want to be just friends, I love
her but I’m just too shy, and I don’t know
why.
11th grade:-
The phone rang. On the other end, it was
her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on
about how her love had broke her heart. She
asked me to come over because she didn’t
want to be alone, So I did. As I sat next to
her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes,
wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one
Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of
chips, she decided to go home.
She looked at me, said ‘thanks’ and gave
me a kiss on the cheek..I want to tell her, I
want her to know that I don’t want to be
just friends, I love her but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.
Senior year:-
One fine day she walked to my locker. “My
date is sick” she said, ”hes not gonna go”
well, I didn’t have a date, and in 7th grade,
we made a promise that if neither of us had
dates, we would go together just as ‘best
friends’.
So we did. That night, after everything was
over, I was standing at her front door step. I
stared at her as She smiled at me and
stared at me with her crystal eyes.
Then she said- “I had the best time,
thanks!” and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I
want to tell her, I want her to know that I
don’t want to be just friends, I love her but
I’m just too shy, and I don’t know why.
Graduation:-
A day passed, then a week, then a month.
Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I
watched as her perfect body floated like an
angel up on stage to get her diploma. I
wanted her to be mine-but she didn’t notice
me like that, and I knew it.
Before everyone went home, she came to me
in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged
her.
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder
and said- ‘you’re my best friend, thanks’
and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to
tell her, I want her to know that I don’t
want to be just friends, I love her but I’m
just too shy, and I don’t know why.
Marriage:-
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That
girl is getting married now. and drive off to
her new life, married to another man. I
wanted her to be mine, but she didn’t see
me like that, and I knew it. But before she
drove away, she came to me and said ‘you
came !’.
She said ‘thanks’ and kissed me on the
cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don’t want to be just friends, I love
her but I’m just too shy, and I don’t know
why.
Death:-
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of
a girl who used to be my ‘best friend’.
At the service, they read a diary entry she
had wrote in her high school years.
This is what it read:
‘I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he
doesn’t notice me like that, and I know it. I
want to tell him, I want him to know that I
don’t want to be just friends,
I love him but I’m just too shy, and I don’t
know why. I wish he would tell me he loved
me !
………’I wish I did too…’
I thought to my self, and I cried.

Beautiful story…..A very poor man lived with his wife. ~

One day, his wife, who had very long hair
asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to
grow well and to be well-groomed.
The man felt very sorry and said no. He
explained that he did not even have enough
money to fix the strap of his watch he had
just broken. She did not insist on her
request.
The man went to work and passed by a
watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a
low price and went to buy a comb for his
wife.
He came home in the evening with the comb
in his hand ready to give to his wife.
He was surprised when he saw his wife with
a very short hair cut.
She had sold her hair and was holding a
new watch band.
Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes,
not for the futility of their actions, but for
the reciprocity of their love.

Heart Touching Story…..with a Moral

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after
being called in for an urgent surgery. He
answered the call asap, changed his clothes
& went directly to the surgery block.
He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall
waiting for the doctor.
On seeing him, the dad yelled: “Why did you
take all this time to come? Don’t you know
that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you
have any sense of responsibility?”
The doctor smiled & said: “I am sorry, I
wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I
could after receiving the call…… And now, I
wish you’d calm down so that I can do my
work”
“Calm down?! What if your son was in this
room right now, would you calm down? If
your own son dies now what will you do??”
said the father angrily
The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say
what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust
we came & to dust we return, blessed be the
name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives.
Go & intercede for your son, we will do our
best by God’s grace”
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is
so easy” Murmured the father.
The surgery took some hours after which
the doctor went out happy, “Thank
goodness!, your son is saved!” And without
waiting for the father’s reply he carried on
his way running. “If you have any questions,
ask the nurse!!”
“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait
some minutes so that I ask about my son’s
state” Commented the father when seeing
the nurse minutes after the doctor left.
The nurse answered, tears coming down her
face: “His son died yesterday in a road
accident, he was at the burial when we
called him for your son’s surgery. And now
that he saved your son’s life, he left running
to finish his son’s burial.”

"Slow Down And Enjoy Life".

About ten years ago, a young and very
successful executive named Josh was
traveling down a Chicago neighborhood
street. He was going a bit too fast in his
sleek, black, 12 cylinder Jaguar XKE, which
was only two months old.
He was watching for kids darting out from
between parked cars and slowed down when
he thought he saw something.
As his car passed, no child darted out, but a
brick sailed out and-WHUMP! — it smashed
into the Jag’s shiny black side door!
SCREECH…!!!! Brakes slammed! Gears
ground into reverse, and tires madly spun
the Jag back to the spot from where the
brick had been thrown.
Josh jumped out of the car, grabbed the kid
and pushed him up against a parked car. He
shouted at the kid, “What was that all about
and who are you? Just what the heck are
you doing?” Building up a head of steam, he
went on. “That’s my new Jag, that brick you
threw is gonna cost you a lot of money.
Why did you throw it?”
“Please, mister, please…I’m sorry! I didn’t
know what else to do!” pleaded the
youngster. “I threw the brick because no one
else would stop!”
Tears were dripping down the boy’s chin as
he pointed around the parked car. “It’s my
brother, mister,” he said. “He rolled off the
curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I
can’t lift him up.” Sobbing, the boy asked
the executive, “Would you please help me
get him back into his wheelchair? He’s hurt
and he’s too heavy for me.”
Moved beyond words, the young executive
tried desperately to swallow the rapidly
swelling lump in his throat. Straining, he
lifted the young man back into the
wheelchair and took out his handkerchief
and wiped the scrapes and cuts, checking to
see that everything was going to be OK. He
then watched the younger brother push him
down the sidewalk toward their home.
It was a long walk back to the sleek, black,
shining, 12 cylinder Jaguar XKE – a long
and slow walk. Josh never did fix the side
door of his Jag. He kept the dent to remind
him not to go through life so fast that
someone has to throw a brick at him to get
his attention.
Some bricks are softer than others. Feel for
the bricks of life coming at you. In the
hustle bustle and the speed of life, are you
missing out the joys of the present
moments.

Scenery You Miss by Going too Fast….You
